Let’s Get This Bread!

This poster is inspired by the idea of being, “lost in translation,” through the lack of cultural meaning inherent in the mistranslation of language. The emojis are used to symbolize technology’s role in interference with the translation process and the false nature behind the idea of a universal language. This poster was featured in a group show, “Journey to the East: Connections, Not Borders” and was on display at the Leedy-Voulkos gallery in KC.
